| Instructions: |
 |
| 1. |
Fold cardstock over long envelope. Mark edge
so that the width of the card is slightly narrower than the envelope
insuring the card will fit inside. Using your straight edge, tear
away the excess paper from card. |
|
 |
| 2. |
Open flap of envelope and place the card inside
the flap so that there are even amounts of gray showing on each end.
Mark the envelope edge smaller than the gray card and tear away the
excess envelope edge using the straight edge. |
|
 |
| 3. |
Now use the envelope glue to adhere the back
flap to the back of the card and use the glue stick to adhere the
front of the envelope to the card. |
|
 |
| 4. |
Tear excess gray card stock smaller than the
plum rectangle on your card and glue into place. |
|
 |
| 5. |
Cut out the verse provided and glue. |
|
 |
| 6. |
Cut out a plum shape and then cut the center
out of that, creating a frame. Now cut a school picture to fit. |
| 7. |
Glue the picture to the card, then the
plum over top. |
|
 |
| 8. |
Use white glue
to create frosted areas on the plum and around the verse. Then use
glue to draw pine needles from corner of card. |
|
 |
| 9. |
Apply
glitter to glue, let dry. |
|
 |
| 10. |
Cut out Happy holidays for inside and another smaller plum. Glue
inside. |
| 11. |
Use glue and glitter to trim the text and plum, adding pine needles
if desired. Let dry |
|
 |
| 12. |
Use hole punch
to create trim at the top and bottom of card. |
| 13. |
Short cut: complete
the card except applying the glitter. Go have color copies made at
the local copy shop and then just embellish with glitter after they
are printed. This methods is much less time consuming and still has
that hand made touch! Have fun! DAZ |
